Apoorva's paper published in Nature!

We are so very excited to announce that Apoorva’s paper is finally online! https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-026-10584-7

In this, working closely with Dr. Nate Snyder at Temple, she found a completely novel role for the metabolite aKG. While aKG has been strongly linked with demethylation reactions, she found for the first time that it also promotes histone acetylation. This leads to increased DNA repair capacity.

This was a truly collaborative effort, and we thank all lab members, collaborators, and colleagues, as well as funders, for their support!
