Baixue joined in Tsinghua University's Medical Experimental Class Program in 2020, with a focus on nurturing clinicians possessing scientific inquiry skills and clinical diagnosis and treatment abilities. She followed juniors in Dr. Deng Pan's lab to learn foundational techniques in cancer immunology area. In 2023, she started a two-year research training at the University of Pittsburgh. In the Aird lab, her research will focus on understanding the impact of p16 loss on senescence-inducing cancer therapy.
